When you hear Kate Bush singing “Running up that hill” in the supermarket it can give you cause to wonder on the nature of reality.

“Am I in fact stuck in an alternate reality like the upside down, boy, you turn me, inside out…upside down…”

“Now what is on the shopping list…”

One could look at the array of my dreams as sampling the dreaming potential hypersurface where possibilities of varying probability are presented to me in dreams… I can then follow up on the dream to look at the practical reality of the suggestions. So far in the vast majority of cases I can rule out the suggestions. For example I am more than 99.9% sure that I will never get a temporary green card in the USA and 99.5% sure that I will never visit the USA again in this life. I have mentally ruled out this possibility.

The dreaming is a kind of search algorithm which probes the hypersurface of possibilities.

It may find multiple local minima but so far has yet to find the global minimum which represents the most likely place for my life trajectory to end up if there is sufficient “annealing” to sample the entire hypersurface.

The most possible suggestion to come from the dreaming so far is to run dreaming courses at some unspecified time in the future.

Things like the Tibetan vibe, quantum and the general highfalutin are of extremely low probability and near zero practicality given the circles I move in and the financial resources available to me. These days I am very unlikely to go on a wild goose chase to some far flung land.

These can be ruled out.

The remaining question is simple:

What does fate have left in store for me?

What is the residual fate, if any, remaining for me in this lifetime?

The working hypothesis is – not a lot.

As things stand travel abroad is prohibitively costly thanks to the malevolence unleashed by Benjamin Nosferatu and the chavvy Orange man. Flights are cancelled; fares are expensive.

All being well and assuming medical supplies are still available, cryogenic Helium being a factor, I will get a second replacement hip in early summer. I may become physically much more able, less disabled than I am now.

In the meantime the dreaming search algorithm will continue to explore the dreaming hypersurface providing me with possibilities which can generally be ruled out as impracticable if not impossible…

It suggests, I follow up and generally rule out.

That seems to be the way the dreaming search algorithm is working at the moment….
